Full project management was to be included to cover every aspect that related to the design look and feel of the areas. Also there needed to be extra emphasis on the carbon footprint of the event which needed to be kept as low as possible. Extra emphasis needed to be placed on recycling and reusing product and fittings to maximum efficiency.
The team worked directly with the R&A to fully understand the function of each space. Existing stock was utilised as much as possible with customisable elements creating the complete bespoke feel. The project management team worked closely with the catering contractor to make sure that their needs were met, and to ensure a smooth handover for the stocking and set up of each area.
Deliveries were managed in such a way that half loads were utilised with other contractors to ensure the minimal amount of deliveries being made to the site. A full build and derig schedule was created which was followed to the letter.
“In the years we have been working with Penny Banks they have been first class. From concept creation and design through to production, Penny Banks continue to provide a superb service and are an absolute pleasure to work with.
Watching their design team take our initial briefs and turn them into renders is always an exciting moment, but their greatest skill is turning these visions into reality and Penny Banks do this better than anyone.
Their ability to work accurately to specific budgets and build schedules means we will certainly be looking forward to working with them again in the future.”
